Alice Springs pick-ups: approximately 5:45am.
Ayers Rock pick-ups: Outback Pioneer Lodge (Ayers
Rock Resort) approximately 12:15pm OR Ayers Rock Airport at either
12:15pm, 12:40pm or 2pm. **Please note: if you are joining the tour
at 2pm, you will miss the visit to the Cultural Centre.

We return to Alice Springs at around 5:30pm on the third day.
Route Alice Springs, Uluru (Ayers Rock) to Alice Springs
What is a swag? A swag is made from strong canvas, sewn
like a large sleeping bag with a comfortable sponge mattress inside
providing warmth, comfort and security. You sleep in your sleeping
bag inside the swag so it`s much warmer than a tent!
What amenities are at the campsites? The campsites
both have hot showers and toilets, swimming pools, and electricity
to charge cameras or phones. We have permanent safari tents on the
second night at Kings Creek Station.
A real spirit of adventure and a medium level of fitness is required.
There is a lot to see over the 3 days and this tour can be fast
paced at times. It is important to note that Central Australia experiences
extreme weather conditions during summer.
We have a maximum of 21 people on the tour coach.

Day 1: Alice Springs to Uluru
We pick you up outside your accommodation at 5.45am
and drive through the beautiful outback to Uluru, viewing Mount
Connor on the way. If you're starting the tour in Ayers Rock we
will pick you up from the Outback Pioneer Hotel (Ayers Rock Resort),
or from the Ayers Rock Airport.
First stop at Uluru is the Cultural Centre for an
insight into the unique culture of the local Aboriginal people,
followed by a healthy lunch. We do a guided Mutijulu Waterhole walk
and learn the history of amazing Uluru. Then you are free to do
the 9km base walk, or if you wish, climb Uluru (unguided). Later
we watch a spectacular Uluru sunset and sip sparkling wine. Then
on to our campsite for hot showers, a hearty meal and a night sleeping
in a swag under millions of outback stars. (Lunch, Dinner included)
Day 2: Uluru Sunrise, Kata Tjuta and Kings
Up early for a spectacular Uluru sunrise and healthy
breakfast. We then head to Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) for a guided 5.5km
walk through the Valley of the Winds, followed by lunch. Next we
drive to Kings Creek Station to relax and enjoy an outback BBQ.
Tonight, after a hot shower, we will be sleeping in a safari tent.

Day 3: Kings Canyon and Mt Ebenezer to Alice
After breakfast, we drive to Kings Canyon for a
guided 6km Canyon Rim Walk in one of the most spectacular areas
of the outback. Visit the natural Amphitheatre, North and South
Walls, and the exotic Garden of Eden along the way.
After lunch we return to Alice Springs stopping at Mount Ebenezer
Roadhouse, arriving back to Alice Springs early evening. (Breakfast,
(Optional camel ride is available at your own expense)
We have a maximum of 21 people on each of our camping tours.
Maximum Walks: Hikes up to 6-8kms per day. A reasonable level of
fitness is required as there will be some walking to view places
of interest. Suitable for soft adventures with a passion for bushwalking
and exploring. Passengers must be fit and active.

Booked and paid E-Ticket, water bottle (capacity 3 litres), strong
non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses,
sunscreen, toiletries, torch (flash light), swim wear, towel, camera,
casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in
summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow, a small overnight
bag (please leave your luggage at your Alice Springs accommodation
due to space limitations on the bus).
Note: Due to limited space on the vehicle please
restrict luggage to a day pack and one soft overnight bag/backpack

for any cause including seasonal conditions, weather extremes, and
traditional owner/national park requirements. Please see terms and
conditions of travel for full details.
Tour may not be suitable for children under 8
years of age.
From October to March it is likely that you will
experience temperatures of over 35 degrees Celsius, and sometimes
well into the 40's. Be prepared to endure extra physical stress
due to the heat at these times, especially while on walks. These
extreme temperatures can also place stress on the air-conditioning
units within our vehicles which can make travelling uncomfortable.
Your tour guide will assist with regular breaks and information
to assist keeping hydrated. In July and August, very cold temperatures
can be experienced in the outback, especially overnight. Please
come prepared for all extremes.
The default pick up point is where we will meet
you for your tour, unless you or your travel agent requests an alternative
location (contact our Reservations team for more information). It
is your responsibility to contact us with your preferred pick up
point well ahead of departure. We do not take responsibility for
missed tours if we have not been advised of an alternative in advance
and you are not at the default location on time.

departure to confirm pick-up location and time.by phone direct with

Special Dietary requirements and allergies
Passengers with special meal requirements or food allergies MUST
ensure they or their travel agent inform Emu Run of this at the
time of booking.
Food for the trip is purchased prior to commencement and special
requirements cannot be catered for after departing.
Due to the nature of our trips food is basic but plentiful.
We provide healthy, quality meals on our tours. We are able to
cater for one of the following special dietary requests upon request:
vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free. If you have a food allergy
(eg peanuts) please advise at the time of booking and carry any
necessary medication with you on tour. An additional charge of $25
pp will apply for vegetarian or dairy free, this is payable direct
to Emu Run.
